The South Ossetian Company "Your aviation centre-South Ossetia" has acquired the first aircraft to be used for fire safety and rescue operations. As IA "Res" has been informed by the company CEO Georgy Valiev, "we got three-seater-rotary-wing aircraft ''Gyroplane Hunter-3''. It has already been delivered to the Republic. The device will be used to monitor the area for early detection of forest fires, tracking the population of wild animals, and in emergency cases it will be used in rescue operations". He said the company was planning to acquire two more aircrafts.

"We intend to revive the flying club, previously functioning in South Ossetia, and in addition to the above mentioned objectives these devices will also be used in training pilots for our Republic" - added the official.
It should be noted that March 14, 2012 Ministry of Economic Development of South Ossetia and the Russian company "Your Aviation Center" signed a cooperation agreement, which provides for establishment and development of small civil aviation in South Ossetia as well as establishment of an enterprise producing light airplanes in the territory of the Republic.
