As IA "Res" has been informed by the committee chairman Zarina Tedety, "August 8, we intend to open the stand of memory with photos of the victims of the war not only in August 2008, but those who have become the victims of the Georgian aggression since 1989," - said Tedety.
According to her, during the day the victims' families will be coming to the stand of memory, where they will light candles and remember their loved ones.
"Those people are no longer with us, but we remember, mourn and never consign them to oblivion, - underlined Tedety. – We are upset by the fact that their names are not mentioned properly in the media. We must not forget our defenders, children, women, elderly people who died not only in 2008, but also since 1989."
Zarina Tedety has added that to date, 680 families of the victims are registered at the Committee of the fallen and missing "Memory".
