A meeting of co-chairs of the international discussions on security in Transcaucasia with members of the South Ossetian delegation at the Geneva talks is under way in Tskhinval.
Opening the meeting, the head of the delegation of South Ossetia, Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev has recalled yesterday's trip of the co-chairs to Leningor district where they had the opportunity to see how people live after the war in August 2008.
"This trip was very important. You have seen that people in the region live in peace, and there are no any ethnic conflicts there. People want to live in peace ", - said the envoy.

He again focused attention of the visitors on the ongoing gas blockade, which Georgia had declared in this area five years ago.
"Despite our common efforts, the problem is not solved yet. We would assess as a gesture of good will, if the Georgian side soon settled the issue of gas supply, for which we are going to pay, "- stressed the envoy.
He addressed the guests to raise this issue at a meeting with representatives of the Georgian authorities, adding that it was not a political issue, but humanitarian.
At the same time, he has noted that the South Ossetian authorities are working on the problem of gas supply of Leningor district.
In turn, the EU co-chair Philippe Lefort has expressed gratitude for the opportunity to visit Leningor district, which, according to him, is of specialimportance.
"We hope that we can be helpful in solving the problems of residents of this district, and, in general, the conflict-affected people of South Ossetia. I believe that we need to focus on the security issues, "- he said.
