Professional boxer from South Ossetia Marat Kulumbegov is in his four-week training session in Guadalajara (Mexico) to get ready for his upcoming fights.
This has been said IA "Res" by a coach of the boxer Robert Pliev.

"Kulumbegov flew to Mexico on February 10 with the team of the boxers` club "Elite Boxing Promotion ", - said Pliev. – Within a month the Ossetian athlete will be training together with his friends in the gym, where has been training the reigning WBC (World Boxing Council) light middleweight world champion Saul Alvarez."
According to the coach, in the second half of March in Ukraine the Ossetian boxer will hold his next rating fight and he should be in excellent form.
" While training in Mexico, all his energies will be focused on improving the technical and tactical skills, as well as on sparring skills. Together with the boxers in Guadalajara is the head coach" of "Elite Boxing" "Andrey Sinepupov," - he added.
It should be noted, that to date Kulumbegov has achieved nine wins in the ten boxing bouts. In six fights the South Ossetian athlete won a victory by knockout.
The last time he had a fight in Hollywood (USA - Ed) December 21, 2012. During the match, he scored a fourth round TKO over 34 year old American boxer Billy Bailey.
The sportsman is 22. He performs in the super weight class (up to 76.203 kg).
Until 2010 he had been training by the South Ossetian master of sports of international class, a boxing coach of the Public-State Physical Culture and Sports Association "Youth of Russia" Robert Pliev.
Kulumbegov held his first fight in the professional ring in March 2011.
Currently, the boxer trains in Kiev and represents the promotional company «Elite Boxing Promotion».
Kulumbegov is trained for fights by the coaches Viktor Sidorenko and Vladimir Khodakovsky.
