"Kozaev will defend his title of the Slavic countries and the CIS champion, - said Slanov. - At the present time representatives of the promoter company "Ural Boxing Promotion", which is represented by Kozaev, are discussing the possibility of conducting a single combat with the Georgian boxer Georgy Ungadze. But there are also a number of alternative opponents for our athlete. "

According to the coach, in the near future the managers of Kozaev will choose his rival and will fix the date and the place of the battle.
It should be noted that his last title bout the Ossetian athlete fought on March 17 in the town of Noginsk. He met in the ring with another Russian fighter - the champion of Russia among professionals, the IBF Asian Champion David Avanesian.
Then the stubborn fight ended in a draw by the decision of referees and Kozaev defended both belts.
Kozaev is 25. He is the WBC European champion, the WBC world champion among youth, intercontinental WBC world champion among youth, and champion of Asia among adults. To date, the boxer has fought 24 bouts and scored victory in all of them. In eight boxing matches he won early victory and one fight ended in a draw. In professional boxing Kozaev debuted in 2008. He trains in the Vladikavkaz Boxing Club "Ariana" under the direction of the honored coach of the RSO and the RF Vitaly Slanov.
