President of South Ossetia received representatives of Russian Ministry of Communications

Questions of communication system in South Ossetia have been discussed today during a meeting of the President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov with Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Alexey Volin and Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Maria Kazan.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister of South Ossetia Guram Melkoev and Chairman of the Committee of Communications and Mass Media of the Republic of South Ossetia Inal Tibilov.
The head of state welcomed the guests and thanked them for their active participation in the development of the communication system of the country.
"The tasks facing the Republic have been successfully implemented with the assistance of Russia, but nevertheless, we have to move forward and actively use our own resources", - said Leonid Tibilov.
In turn, Alexei Volin informed the President on the work done during his stay in the Republic.
"The challenges facing us, are promising - the development of a network of digital TV broadcasting in South Ossetia. We toured the Republic, checked the condition of the transmission towers and the stations` signal to imagine the further work to be done, "- said Volin.
He has noted that together with the South Ossetian colleagues, is conducted a fruitful work on the preparation of a comprehensive program for development of communications in South Ossetia.
