Russian government's decision to expel South Ossetia from the list of countries with the difficult conditions for diplomats once again confirms that the situation in South Ossetia is stable and safe for both citizens and foreigners. This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia David Sanakoev, commenting on the Cabinet decision of the Russian Federation adopted November 28, 2013.

He has stressed that the huge contribution to ensuring the stability and security of the Republic is made by the Russian military contingent in South Ossetia, which has been carried out its mission on the basis of bilateral agreements.
"For us it is a guarantor of peace, despite the fact that Georgia is still refusing to sign a legally binding non-aggression pact", - said the head of the Foreign Ministry.
He expressed confidence that an exemplary decision of the government of the Russian Federation would have a positive impact on the image of the Republic.
