For the past week in South Ossetia were detained and handed over to the KGB Border Service of the RSO six violators of the state border of the Republic. As IA "Res" has been informed at the KGB press service, "two citizens of South Ossetia were detained in the border area in the village of Artsev in Tskhinval district, two Russian citizens were detained in Tskhinval and Znaur districts, and two Georgian citizens were detained in the border area in Znaur district."
Two citizens of South Ossetia and the Russian citizen by a court decision were fined. Another Russian citizen was verbally warned and released without penalty.
The detained November 29 -30 citizens of Georgia Ambrose Kapanadze, born in 1944, a resident of the village of Tsagvli in Khashuri district, and Zaza Lomsadze, born in 1968, a resident of the city of Poti, by a court decision were fined. The question of their expulsion from the territory of South Ossetia is now under consideration.
