At the next session of the South Ossetian parliament's session, South Ossetian legislators intend to ratify the treaty of friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Donetsk People's Republic.
The framework agreement between the two countries was signed on May 11, at the level of heads of state. As it was noted, at the conclusion of the basic agreement, the parties proceeded from the desire to raise the relations between the People's Democratic Republic and South Ossetia to a qualitatively new level, taking into account the fundamental national interests of the peoples of both republics.
According to the press service of the legislative body of South Ossetia, the bill on ratification of the treaty was considered in the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and inter-parliamentary cooperation. On Monday, it will be discussed at a meeting of the presidium of theParliament and only then at the session, which is scheduled for a new week, the deputy corps of the Republic should finally approve this document.
The Parliament of South Ossetia has expressed hope that with the ratification of the treaty of friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance, cooperation between the two countries will accelerate, bringing benefit to both sides.
