President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov has received a delegation from the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, arrived in the Republic at the VIII session of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly.
The head of state has noted that the relations between the two republics are dynamically developing.
"Of course, there are some difficulties that prevent us to communicate more closely. But in any case, the desire of our peoples to interact, to ensure that our republics develop in a fraternal, friendly direction does not leave us. And we will take concrete steps in this direction, "Bibilov said.
The head of state wished the leadership and people of the PMR peace, prosperity and development of the Republic.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Shcherba has expressed gratitude to Anatoly Bibilov for the reception, noting that he has arrived in South Ossetia for the first time.
"For the first time I am in a very hospitable South Ossetian land, and literally from the first minutes of our arrival, we felt the greatness of the nature," Shcherba said.
Alexander Scherba has called Bibilov a vivid representative of the South Ossetian people.
"I feel your power, charisma, purposefulness, and most importantly, what drives the world, then what the future is - unselfishness and open heart," Shcherba said.
According to him, when a person sincerely and cordially gives first of all a part of his soul to everyone, such a person is destined to glorify the land on which he was born and grew up.
"Such a man is Vladimir Putin for the entire Russian world, there is no doubt that such a man is you for the South Ossetian people," said the head of the Supreme Council of the PMR.
Shcherba presented Bibilov with the highest award of the legislative body of Transnistria - the medal "For contribution to the cause of parliamentarism".
Anatoly Bibilov, in turn, awarded Alexander Shcherba with the "Order of Friendship" and also presented medals "In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Republic of South Ossetia" to the members of the PMR delegation.
