South Ossetia made the absolutely right decision by recognizing the independence of the DPR and the LPR - said President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov at a press conference in Tskhinval.
According to Bibilov, today the scenario of Abkhazia and South Ossetia is repeated in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
"What happened in South Ossetia is directly proportional to what is happening today in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. And we perfectly understand what assistance today is needed for these Republics," - the president said.
Bibilov has noted that the DPR and the LPR should be supported in every possible way.
"They need to understand that through this hell, this path passed those republics that have already been recognized, - Bibilov emphasized. - We have taken the step we consider the necessary one. And no any resident of South Ossetia regrets about it, because any decision in the Republic is made by the people of South Ossetia".
The head of state has reminded that at the time the leadership of these republics appealed officially to the political leadership of South Ossetia.
"The Ossetians always responded specifically to any questions. And we, as the Republic of South Ossetia, also specifically responded to this appeal. We will render any moral, political or other assistance to the DPR and LPR,"- concluded Bibilov.
