The warm and friendly conversation between Presidents of South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Belarus - Alan Gagloev, Badra Gunba and Alexander Lukashenko took place as part of the gala reception in the Kremlin, the press service of the head of the South Ossetian state reports.
The reception was organized on behalf of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
"The leaders once again congratulated each other on the significant date and expressed mutual respect and commitment to strengthening the traditionally friendly ties between the fraternal peoples," the press service has noted.
The atmosphere of the meeting once again emphasized the spirit of unity and common historical heritage that unites the states whose peoples were fighting shoulder to shoulder for freedom and independence during the Great Patriotic War.
