There is a full understanding of the fact that South Ossetia and the Lugansk People’s Republic must move together, said South Ossetian President Anatoly Bibilov to journalists after the talks with the head of the LPR.
“We have identified the steps that will enable us to achieve the desired level in the relations between our state structures, in almost all areas,” said Bibilov.
According to him, the head of the LPR and the South Ossetian side have a full understanding of the fact that it is necessary to interact and expand the possibilities of the republics in the economic, social and political areas.
“All these issues have been discussed, and I think that after the signing of the interstate agreement, the work on them will begin,” the President stressed.
For his part, the head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, has noted that there are many ways for interaction between the LPR and the RSO.
“We have discussed a lot. The main task is to increase the well-being of the people of the RSO and the people of the LPR. To this end, we have developed certain ways of our strategic movement, so that in a joint mode we can more effectively use the opportunities available both in South Ossetia and in the territory of the LPR” said Pasechnik.
President of the LPR thanked Anatoly Bibilov for an informative and useful conversation, noting that all the questions identified during the discussion will begin to be implemented in the near future.
Anatoly Bibilov has stressed that issues relating to economic development will be discussed at a meeting of the economic adviser to the head of the LPR Vladimir Chernev and Minister of Economic Development of South Ossetia Gennady Bekoev.
The head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, has noted that today there is already a registered joint venture on the territory of South Ossetia, that indicates that the work on the economic issues is underway.
