No new cases of coronavirus disease have been detected in South Ossetia in a day

During the day, 29 studies were carried out in South Ossetia, no new cases of coronavirus infection were detected, Deputy Head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Anna Gagloeva told IA “Res" on Wednesday.

Since May of this year, 4961 coronavirus tests have been carried out in the Republic.

"A four-year-old child with a laboratory-confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 is in the infectious ward under the supervision of doctors," Gagloeva said.

156 people are under medical supervision on the morning of September 2, 119 people are in medical institutions of the republic, 23 of them are in the infectious diseases department.

Also, 28 builders who arrived under the Investment Program are under quarantine.

In total, 90 people infected with coronavirus have been identified since May, all of them were in quarantine at the medical institutions, 89 people recovered and were discharged from medical institutions.

Until September 15, there are restrictions on crossing the border with Russia. At thr meeting of the operational headquarters at the beginning of the week, the head of state Anatoly Bibilov noted that negotiations were underway with Russian colleagues and the road might open earlier by September 10.
