Over the past day, 98 people have been tested for COVID in South Ossetia; 33 showed a positive result, the head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, Marina Kochieva, told IA "Res" on Thursday.
"The number of cases in the Republic has reached 2491. 20 people have been removed from the medical register with a negative COVID-19 test in a day, in total, there are 1659 people," Kochieva said. "832 people remain under medical supervision in hospitals and on outpatient treatment."
During the pandemic, 14015 people have been tested in the PCR laboratory of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee.
In the Republic, since January 15, the ban on the work of secondary, secondary vocational and higher educational institutions will be lifted, while a mask regime is in effect, it is necessary to observe social distance in public places.
