President Anatoly Bibilov met with a Commander of the 58th Army, Major General Mikhail Zusko, the press service of the head of state reports.
The President has noted that interaction between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is expanding both at the level of interaction with the 58th Army, and directly on the territory of South Ossetia with the 4th military base of the Russian Federation.
“This interaction is ongoing, with a serious and good positive. All those goals and objectives that we set along the general safety loop have actually been completed and are valid today. The fact that today the Ministry of Defense of South Ossetia is providing serious assistance from the Ministry of Defense of Russia is also obvious,” Anatoly Bibilov noted.
He expressed gratitude to the Russian Defense Ministry for the prompt deployment of a field hospital in South Ossetia at the request of the Republic's leadership.
“The doctors, to whom I would also like to express my gratitude, undoubtedly rendered great assistance to their colleagues in South Ossetia in the tactics of treatment and seriously reduced the workload in our hospital, in the RMMC,” the President stressed.
Anatoly Bibilov expressed confidence in the prospects for further development of relations between defense departments.
For his part, Mikhail Zusko thanked the President of South Ossetia for the high assessment of the cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of the RSO.
He has noted that after a meeting with the President in November 2020, a package of documents was worked out regarding cooperation in the development of the armed forces of the Republic of South Ossetia.
