The meeting was organized by the RNO-Alania Committee for Youth Affairs and the North Caucasus Resource Center for Volunteering Support "Volunteer of the Caucasus".
The participants in the meeting asked a variety of questions, from sports topics to questions related to the boxer's personal life.
The most anticipated question was when Murat will fight next time? To which Murat Gassiev replied that there are problems due to misunderstandings with his American promoters.
- My American promoters filed a lawsuit after the last fight, which took place in Sochi, because it took place without their consent. Now I have to stay here, I cannot get an American visa and leave. And those smart people who say that I gave up boxing and the like, in spite of them I need to continue boxing and win, - said Gassiev.
Despite the caustic comments on social networks, Murat Gassiev is confident in his abilities and, when asked about his dream, says that he still dreams of becoming the undisputed world champion, but now in the heavyweight division.
"Once I failed, I lost, but I will try to do everything to become a world champion in a new weight class," he said.
