President Anatoly Bibilov visited the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center (RMMC), on the territory of which an oxygen station has been launched, the press service of the head of state reports.
According to Фcting Minister of Health and Social Development Georgy Totchiev, a trial launch of the station was carried out, the equipment is operating in a regular mode
“To date, a full-fledged oxygen supply service has been formed on the territory of the RMMC. The oxygen station is designed to produce 200 liters of oxygen per minute. The station provides for the possibility of filling cylinders, a storage tank for liquid oxygen and a gasifier, through which the supply to oxygen networks is carried out on the territory of the RMMC,” said Georgy Totchiev.
After inspecting the station and getting acquainted with its work, Anatoly Bibilov inquired about the possibilities of providing oxygen during the period of possible peak load.
Georgy Totchiev рфы assured that with the competent work of the station's specialists and the rational use of resources, it is possible to constantly provide both intensive care wards and beds allocated for infectious patients.
“The capabilities of this station allow us, relatively speaking, to meet the needs of the RMMC in peacetime. If this oxygen is still not enough, then we have a tank for 8 tons. And if the resource is used correctly and the reservoir is supplied, this will be enough to avoid problems with the oxygen supply,” he said.
In connection with the delivery of the oxygen station, the President sent letters of thanks for the assistance rendered to South Ossetia by Russian entrepreneurs.
In the letters sent to Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak and the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrei Travnikov, Anatoly Bibilov has noted that during the pandemic, the population of the Republic of South Ossetia faced an acute shortage of medical oxygen for the needs of the country's health care.
"In that difficult time, the private holding of the Russian Federation RATM, headed by the President and main shareholder Eduard Taran, carried out a great deal of work on the manufacturing and delivery of the "Provita-200" medical oxygen production unit to the Republic at the expense of the holding's financial resources and free of charge." the letter says.
The President also expressed gratitude to Valery Guguchkin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of" Ekran - Optical Systems" JSC (an asset of RATM holding), who took an active and proactive part in the manufacturing and delivery of the "Provita-200" installation to South Ossetia.
