The implementation of the facilities of the Investment Program in South Ossetia is carried out in accordance with the schedule, according to the plan. Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Sergei Nazarov said at the briefing in Tskhinval.
“We have no complaints about the implementation of the facilities, because they are being implemented within the agreed time frame, and with sufficient quality. Today we have also inspected the existing facilities of the Investment Program, discussed how they should work optimally and most effectively. And the facilities are being implemented in accordance with the schedule and plan,” he said.
According to Nazarov, at the working meeting on socio economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the RSO held on Friday, were discussed the possibilities of making adjustments to the Investment Program.
"Corrections will be made to the Investment Program, some priorities have appeared, in particular, on the repair of power lines," the Russian Deputy Minister emphasized.
President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, in turn, noted the tendency for an investor to invest in the Republic.
“It is gratifying to note that not only through the investment program, jobs are created, but investors come and invest in South Ossetia. This is the "South Garden" in the village of Khetagurovo, wine production.
As for the obligations of the state, we continue to help investors through the Investment Program. This applies to issues related to the supply of infrastructure, electricity, roads. As part of the Investment Program, we are also preparing projects that we will consider and implement,” said the head of state.
The President has added that customs issues were also discussed with the Russian delegation.
"There is progress in this issue. Our task is to make it as comfortable as possible for citizens to transport goods and cargo at the border. This also applies to vehicles. There are challenges, and we, of course, will solve them, " Bibilov said.
The head of state noted the importance of the project for the construction of a backup power line through the Ruck tunnel.
"The reserve line is the direction that we have been talking about for a long time, we have reached the level that we are planning to connect the reserve power transmission line in October, this is a serious and priority direction for South Ossetia, which is connected with ensuring the energy security of the Republic," he added.
