The Agreement between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation on the settlement of issues of dual citizenship will enter into force on the date of the exchange of instruments of ratification, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RSO reported.
"The Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia has ratified the Agreement between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation on the settlement of the issues of dual citizenship, introduced by President of the Republic Anatoly Bibilov," the Foreign Ministry said.
Earlier on September 20, the document was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the RSO Dmitry Medoev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the RSO Marat Kulakhmetov.
