South Ossetia intends to establish unhindered trade with the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) next year. This was announced on Tuesday by the Chairman of the Government of South Ossetia Gennady Bekoev at the working meeting "Prospects for deepening the economic integration of Russia and Donbass."
"South Ossetia in 2022 will do everything possible to develop mutually beneficial cooperation and create conditions for unhindered trade. We have great potential for mutual promotion of business entities, as well as the creation of joint ventures," the Donetsk news agency quotes him.
Bekoev has also noted that today the Republics have developed a roadmap for the development of the spheres of culture, tourism and youth policy.
The working meeting "Prospects for deepening the economic integration of Russia and Donbass" is taking place on Tuesday in Donetsk. It is attended by politicians and entrepreneurs from the Russian Federation, Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR) and South Ossetia. The Russian delegation is represented by the deputy of the State Duma Alexander Borodai, as well as the head of the Russia-Donbass Committee Andrey Kozenko. In addition, eight regions of the Russian Federation joined the meeting: representatives of Crimea, Karelia, North Ossetia, Volgograd and Penza regions arrived in Donetsk, and representatives from Nizhny Novgorod, Yakutia and Murmansk joined online. The delegation of the LPR is represented by the Chairman of the People's Council of the republic Denis Miroshnichenko, South Ossetia is represented by the Chairman of the government Gennady Bekoev.
The participants will discuss the prospects for Donbass business in relation to trade in the Russian Federation, which opened after the signing by Russian President Vladimir Putin of a decree on supporting the population of the part of Donbass not controlled by Kiev. During the events, it is planned to sign a number of agreements.
