The CEC of South Ossetia hopes to process all the protocols on the results of the presidential elections within Monday and official results can be published on Tuesday, said Marina Tskhovrebova, a member of the Republic's CEC.
"We are hoping very much that the processing will be complete within a day," said Marina Tskhovrebova, a member of the CEC.
According to her, "tomorrow, presumably, there may already be an official publication of the voting results in the media."
"If we do not have time by tomorrow, then we have time from yesterday to issue the information within five days," she said.
The official results of the CEC of the Republic show that after counting 95% of the votes in the presidential elections in South Ossetia, the incumbent President Anatoly Bibilov has 33.5%, Alan Gagloev is ahead of him, who received 36.9% of the vote. Following after processing 95% of the ballots are Alexander Pliev, who received 11.9% of the vote, Garry Muldarov with 8.9% and Dmitry Tasoev with 2.8%, 1.8% of those who voted against all.
