South Ossetia sent another batch of humanitarian aid to the Donbass

South Ossetia has sent about ten tons of cargo with basic necessities and clothing to residents of Donbass and Ossetian fighters taking part in Russia's special operation in Ukraine, the Republican headquarters for the collection of humanitarian aid told reporters.

"The day before, a humanitarian cargo of more than 10 tons was sent to the Donetsk People's Republic - food, clothes for our soldiers and residents of Donbass, as well as baby carriages and toys for children," the representative of the headquarters said.

Teachers and schoolchildren of three schools in Tskhinval - the first, second and ninth, as well as trade enterprises, private individuals, entrepreneurs and military personnel took part in the collection of aid.

Earlier, residents of Donbass have already received about 30 tons of cargo from South Ossetia - essential products, medicines, clothes.

In February, South Ossetia received 42 people evacuated from Donbass, women with children. Of these, 24 are children, including infants. For them, in one of the hotels in Tskhinval, all conditions for living were created. In addition, the residents of the Republic organized the collection of financial assistance for them, the children were given the opportunity to study in the educational institutions of the Republic.
