South Ossetia handed over the border violator to the Georgian side

A citizen of Georgia, who violated the state border of South Ossetia in June of this year, was handed over to the Georgian side on Tuesday, the press service of the KGB of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.

"Georgian citizen Nukri Vasilyevich Kalashnikov, born in 1972, detained on June 22 for illegally crossing the state border of South Ossetia, was found guilty by the Tskhinvali District Court on June 24, 2022 of committing a crime under Article 322 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Illegal crossing of the state border" and sentenced to four months in prison," the press service said.

They noted that on September 27, Kalashnikov N.V. was handed over to the Georgian authorities in accordance with the established procedure.
