South Ossetian grappler Oleg Parastaev became the winner of the ACBJJ WORLD OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP GI & NO – GI 2022 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championship, the athlete’s coach Elbrus Gobozov told the “Res” news agency
.According to him, about 3,300 athletes from all over the world took part in the event. South Ossetia was represented by five athletes at the championship.
“ From our team the winner has become Олег Парастаев. He performed well, but there are still some minor remarks about his performance. In general, it is not a very good result of our team. We will continue to work and correct mistakes,” Gobozov said.
Oleg Parastaev performed in the weight class up to 55 kg, in the age group of 18-20 years.
The coach expressed his gratitude to President of the Republic Alan Gagloev and to director of the bakery enterprise Vadim Tskhovrebov for financial support.
