The issue of implementing joint educational programs was discussed at the meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev and Rector of the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK) Nadezhda Kamynina. This was reported by the press service of the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation.
The press service has informed that during the meeting, special attention was paid to the development of partnership in the field of scientific and technological projects and innovation activities.
"The issue of the implementation of joint educational programs, including the programs of the network university of the CIS member states for training personnel in the field of geodesy, cartography, cadastre and remote sensing of the earth, including programs of additional professional education and retraining for employees of the industry, both in full-time and remote formats, was discussed," the message reads.
The Embassy has added that following the meeting, was signing a cooperation agreement and organizing a visit of MIIGAiK representatives to South Ossetia in order to present the university's educational programs, as well as discuss joint projects aimed at developing the personnel and technological potential of the industry.
