South Ossetia continues to insist on the removal of the Georgian post in the village of Uista from the territory of the Republic.
As noted by the head of the South Ossetian delegation Yegor Kochiev after the meeting in the IPRM format, this was announced by the South Ossetian party.
“Since the previous meeting, there have been no incidents in the area of the village of Uista, but earlier there were cases when actions of an incomprehensible nature were recorded by the Georgian police, the presence of incomprehensible persons on the territory of the talc plant.
Therefore, we continue to insist on the removal of the Georgian post so that there are no reasons for destabilizing the situation in this territory,” Kochiev said.
According to him, security issues at the state border were discussed at the meeting.
“We focused on the issues of border violations by the Georgian police. I think that an understanding will be reached with the Georgian party and such violations will stop,” he said.
