The winner of various music competitions and festivals, the Ossetian singer Leila Margieva performed a concert in the Russian special operation zone in the Zaporozhye region.
As the vocalist herself told the IA “Res”, by her concert she wanted to support the guys who are on the front line.
“I performed patriotic songs, both my own and covers, including “Invincible”, “Mothers’ Plea” and others. Both the fighters of the Alania battalion and the guys who were in the hospital liked the concert,” Margieva has shared.
According to the performer, fighters from South Ossetia and Russia were present at the concert.
“We were greeted very warmly. After the concert, I received a lot of positive comments and words of gratitude addressed to me. They told me I was a very brave girl,” she said.
The artist has noted that the initiative to perform a concert in the special military operation zone was supported by her father, Viktor Margiev.
The trip was organized with the assistance of the special military operation participant Ramazan Kantemirov and the head of the unified humanitarian center for supporting fighters from North Ossetia-Alania and South Ossetia Soslan Andiev.
Also, financial assistance to the singer was provided by Alan Tsakoev, assistant to the deputy of the parliament of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.
