President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev has held a meeting with the delegation of the Russian Union of Rescuers, led by Honored Rescuer of the Russian Federation Alexei Dudarev, who arrived in Tskhinval on a working visit.
The President thanked the guests for the visit, his press service reports.
“You have come here to sign the agreement, to establish cooperation. Despite the difficult times, I am confident that your interaction will be very successful,” he said.
Alexey Dudarev has noted that interaction with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia implies both practical and informational assistance.
“The agreement signed today between our departments implies cooperation in the field of ensuring security and saving the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies. As part of the work under the agreement, training and education of rescuers, methodological assistance in improving skills, as well as all related activities are planned,” he said.
Alan Gagloev wished the meeting participants successful interaction.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the State, together with the head of Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ibrahim Gasseev and the guests, visited the training site of Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia in Tskhinval district, where he inspected the construction and progress of equipping the site.
