Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia, Znaur Gassiev, took part in the reception to mark the 45th anniversary of the victory of the Sandinista People's Revolution at the invitation of Ambassador of Nicaragua to the Russian Federation, Alba Torres.
In his welcoming address, Gassiev congratulated the staff of the Diplomatic Mission and the friendly people of Nicaragua on this significant event.

We express our deep respect to the leaders and party members of the Sandinista Front, who managed to defend the ideals of freedom, democracy and social justice in difficult conditions. May the spirit of freedom, courage, fraternal mutual assistance and unity help the people of Nicaragua maintain peace and stability, resolve all problems for the benefit of the prosperity of their beloved country. On this significant date, people of South Ossetia are happy to share this holiday with the friendly people of Nicaragua,” he has noted.
