On Thursday, the Embassy of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation took part in the farewell ceremony in connection with the death of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong. This was reported by the press service of the diplomatic mission.
The press service has noted that the Embassy staff left a note in the book of condolences regarding the death of Chong.
“A telegram was also sent expressing deep condolences to the Vietnamese Embassy, the family and friends of the Secretary General, and the entire people of Vietnam in connection with the passing of the prominent political figure of the republic,” the South Ossetian diplomatic mission has noted.
