A conference was held at the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center (RMMC) of Tskhinval with the participation of leading specialists in the Bakulev cardiovascular surgery and the South Ossetian doctors.
The event was opened by Deputy Health Minister of the Republic Alena Pukhaeva.
The head of the cardiology department Svetlana Koroeva and pediatric cardiologist at the Republican Children's Hospital RMMC Lyudmila Tadtaeva spoke about diseases of the cardiovascular system among citizens of the Republic, as well as about the results of consultations with the doctors at the Bakulev Center.
The South Ossetian doctors expressed their deep gratitude to the specialists of the Bakulev Center for their highly qualified reception and attentive attitude towards patients.
During the conference, doctors of the Bakulev Center made reports. Arrhythmologist surgeon Oleg Sopov spoke about the innovative treatment of patients with complex forms of supraventricular tachyarrhythmias and the possibilities of modern arrhythmology.
“Thank you for the warm welcome and high organization of work. Everything went like clockwork, all that was required from us was active participation and work. I liked the approach to pediatric arrhythmology; Lyudmila Tadtaeva knows each of her patients,” Oleg Sopov has noted.
The leading specialists of the Bakulev Russian Center for Cardiovascular Surgery during their two days in Tskhinval consulted more than 350 patients - both adults and children.
