A meeting between the Ossetian Diaspora and the creative team of the South Ossetian State Drama Theater took place in Samara.
The troupe has arrived in Samara as part of a major tour and will present three performances to local audiences.
According to the press service of the Temple of Melpomene, the actors were personally greeted by Rostislav Khugaev, a the founder of the Amond Group of Companies and the Alania Ossetian National Cultural Center in the Samara Region, and the Honorary Citizen of the Samara Urban District.
He organized a tour of the Druzhby Narodov Ethnopark in Samara.
The meeting was also attended by renowned choreographer and stage master Vladimir Arsoev, who made history as the first performer of the famous "Simd" dagger dance as part of the South Ossetian State Group.
The Druzhby Narodov Ethnopark presented itself to guests as a unique ethno cultural complex. Its architectural ensemble includes more than 20 traditional houses and farmsteads, each revealing the unique culture and traditions of the peoples of the Samara Region.
