A meeting with Margarita Isaakova, Head of the International Department of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia.

According to the Ministry's press service, the visit was held at the invitation of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia.

During the meeting, Margarita Isaakova gave a presentation to the young diplomats on "Soft Power as a Key Form of Influence."

She detailed the role of soft power and public diplomacy in building long-term alliances and a positive image of the country in the context of modern globalization and digitalization, and also answered questions from the audience.

Aleksey Sanakoev, Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, expressed gratitude to the guest for the visit and informative presentation.

It's worth noting that Margarita Isaakova, a lawyer and former MGIMO professor, is currently actively studying the Ossetian language and the history and culture of the Ossetian people, highlighting her personal interest in the region.
