Representative of South Ossetia in Transnistria took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Tiraspol water pipeline

The head of the official representative office of South Ossetia in Transnistria, Vitaly Yankovsky, took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the resumption of the Tiraspol water pipeline.

As reported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, in honor of the significant date, a ceremonial event was held in the Palace of the Republic in Tiraspol, during which the best employees of the enterprise were presented with the state and departmental awards.

At the end of the program, the Transnistrian creative groups performed from the stage of the Palace of the Republic for the employees of the enterprise and guests.

The Tiraspol water pipeline is the oldest engineering complex. Its construction began in 1891. At that time, the Dniester River served as the source of water supply. Today, the State Unitary Enterprise consists of six branches located in different cities of the republic and two sections. In total, the team numbers more than 1,700 people.
