The delegation of South Ossetia took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the Memorial to those killed in the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia in 1992-1993 in the Park of Glory in Sukhum, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
The event was dedicated to the 16th anniversary of the recognition of the independence of the Republic of Abkhazia by the Russian Federation.
The ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia, Akhsar Dzhioev, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-parliamentary Relations of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia Zaza Driaev and Chairman of the Committee on Economy, Small Entrepreneurship and Agriculture of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia Arsen Kvezerov.
