Today, Nicaragua is consistently strengthening its position in the international arena and confidently building a worthy future for its people. This is stated in the congratulation of the head of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev to President of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega on the occasion of the national holiday - the Independence Day.
"This important fateful event of September 15, 1821 in the history of the Republic of Nicaragua laid the foundation for the construction of a sovereign country became a symbol and indicator of the strength of spirit of the courageous and freedom-loving Nicaraguan people," the congratulations reads.
The head of the Republic expressed confidence that the unity, cohesion and patriotism of the Nicaraguan people will continue to contribute to the comprehensive development and prosperity of Nicaragua.
Gagloev has emphasized that People of South Ossetia will always remember with gratitude the invaluable support provided by the Republic of Nicaragua.
"I am convinced that the bonds of friendship and mutual respect between our countries and peoples will be strengthened and expanded in all areas of bilateral cooperation, and will serve as a reliable basis for expanding the Ossetian-Nicaraguan interaction," he said.
Gagloev wished Ortega and the entire friendly Nicaraguan people a peaceful sky, well-being and prosperity.
