At the invitation of the leadership of the International BRICS Consortium, the Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia is participating in the first International Congress "BRICS+ Psychology 2026."

Researchers, educators, practitioners, and representatives of industry and business from BRICS+ member countries are participating in the work of the Center for Global Dialogue in Psychology, which will be held at the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation on February 11-12.

"The congress aims to answer key questions: how to adapt psychological practices to the cultural diversity of BRICS+ countries, what tools can help people and communities maintain resilience in times of crisis, and how technology is changing the very essence of the profession. The congress program is structured around four thematic blocks reflecting the current trends and demands of the time," the Embassy has noted.

Specifically, the diplomatic agency has specified, the participants will analyze how Western psychological theories and methods are being transformed in the context of the BRICS+ countries, and what unique approaches are emerging at the intersection of cultural traditions.

The experts will present rapid response practices in crisis situations, prevention programs, and methods for building personal and collective resilience.

The sessions will demonstrate how psychological knowledge increases the adaptability of organizations, supports government initiatives, and contributes to improving the quality of life of citizens.
