The first banknote of the National Bank of South Ossetia, "Kosta Khetagurov," is on display at the HKINF exhibition—a leading Asian numismatic venue, organized in partnership with Heritage Auctions, the world's largest auction house.
The event brought together several thousand guests from Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Korea, India, the Persian Gulf countries, North and South America, Canada, and Europe, confirming its high international status.
"The exhibition opened a new market for the first commemorative banknote—the South Pacific (Polynesia). Following negotiations, the new dealer added the 100-zarin banknote to its product range, marking the brand's entry into a promising region," the official dealer of the National Bank of South Ossetia reports
Substantive discussions were also held with industry partners regarding the prospects and plans for issuing the new banknote, previously announced by Bank of Alania.
The dealers' key questions concerned the design, theme, and maintaining a conceptual link with the overall line dedicated to prominent Ossetian figures. Interest in the new banknote confirms the demand for a continuation of the series.
The National Bank dealer has noted that they have begun preparing pre-orders and analyzing demand for the announced "Vaso Abaev" banknote.
"We have simultaneously begun preparing an advertising campaign to promote the next issue, focusing on the most dynamic and rapidly growing markets. This approach was previously agreed upon at the meeting with the bank's chairman," the dealer has noted.
