The South Ossetian Foreign Ministry commented on the resolution "Cooperation with Georgia" adopted by the UN Human Rights Council.

As noted by the department, the document contains the statements that do not reflect reality about the so-called occupation of the Georgian territories and "human rights violations in the Abkhaz and Tskhinval regions of Georgia."

The Foreign Ministry reminded the participants of the discussion about the provisions of the UN Charter, which determine, in particular, the right of peoples to decide their own fate.

The South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Volvach, who had arrived in South Ossetia on a working visit. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current issues of socio-economic development of the Republic.

All statements by the Georgian politicians are diametrically opposed to the theses about the alleged "reconciliation and apologies", South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev said at the briefing in Tskhinval.
