Servicemen of the Special Forces battalion of the Defense Ministry of South Ossetia honored the memory of Ruslan Besaev, perished in the special military operation

The head of the official representative office of South Ossetia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, Vitaly Yankovsky, took part in the ceremonial rally to mark the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Tiraspol from the Nazi invaders.

Yankovsky also laid flowers at the renovated Tiraspol Memorial of Glory.

During the rally, a minute of silence was observed in memory of those killed during the occupation and liberation of the capital of Transnistria.
