Central Election Committee of South Ossetia has accepted package of documents from the action group on nominating a consultant of the RSO presidential envoy administration on post-conflict settlement Leonid Tibilov as a candidate for president of the Republic.
The Central Election Committee of South Ossetia accepted a package of documents from the initiative group for nominating ex- Chairman of the Committee of Transportation of the RSO Maurice Sanakoev presidential candidate. As reported to IA "Res" by the CEC representative, the "application of the initiative group will be considered within five days, then a decision on registration or refusal of registration will be made".
Further actions of the South Ossetian opposition will depend on the reply of the official leadership of South Ossetia, which the opposition is hoping to receive today. It has been reported to IA "Res" by the ex-candidate for presidency, the opposition leader Alla Dzhioeva.

As reported to IA "Res" by representative of the CEC of South Ossetia "the action team will be issued a certificate of registration and will be eligible collecting the signatures in support of their candidate".
The Central Election Committee of South Ossetia has registered the initiative group for nominating the Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of South Ossetia Yuri Dzitstsoity as the candidate for the presidency. As reported to IA "Res" by the CEC of South Ossetia, the initiative group was registered on January 20 and is now eligible to begin collecting 1000 signatures in support of its nominated candidate CEC has already registered the initiative groups nominating Deputy Defense Minister Igor Alborov and the former Chairman of the State Committee of Information, Communication and Mass Media of South Ossetia Georgy Kabisov as the presidential candidates. CEC is also considering a package of documents of the initiative group nominating a Chairman for the RSO Chamber of Commerce Roin Kozaev.
The presidential re-election of South Ossetia will be held on March 25, 2012.

November 27 a second round for presidential election will be held in the Republic of South Ossetia. As reported to IA "Res" by the Central Election Committee Chairman Bella Plieva, the number of territorial and divisional election committees in each district and in the town will be the same as in the first round.
Tomorrow, November 22, the honorary consulate of the Republic of South Ossetia will open in Vladivostok. This has been reported to IA "Res" at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia. It has been noted there that the consulate will be headed by Jason Demeev.
