37 more people are waiting for test results.

On the morning of May 8, 15 cases of coronavirus infection were laboratory-confirmed in South Ossetia, the head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Marina Kochieva said at a government meeting.

“Of the 64 people examined on Thursday, 4 of them were lab-confirmed coronavirus. Thus, there are 15 patients in the Republic today,” she said.

​

Kochieva has noted that 37 more people are waiting for test results.

To the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in South Ossetia, personal parades are being held for front-line soldiers. On each street where veterans of the Great Patriotic War live, took place ceremonial march of the Defense Ministry.

The head of state Anatoly Bibilov congratulated the war veterans on the upcoming anniversary of the Great Victory. The President presented each of them with gift baskets and cash rereward.

""Happy holiday to you, our veterans. Long life to you and many thanks for your feat", - he addressed them.
