The Day of the "Crimean Spring" will always be a reminder that the strength of the people is in unity and cohesion, President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev noted in his congratulation to the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov in connection with the reunification with the Russian Federation.

Gagloev has emphasized that more than ten years ago, the residents of the peninsula showed the whole world the strength of the Crimean character, unanimously voting for unity with Russia, for peace and security.

The Treaty of Alliance and Integration between South Ossetia and Russia, signed on March 18, 2015, took bilateral relations to a new level, ensuring a coordinated foreign policy, a single defense space and close cooperation in the security sphere.

The document has both historical and strategic significance for both countries.

Presidents of Russia and South Ossetia, Vladimir Putin and Leonid Tibilov, signed the Treaty 10 years ago.

The event will be held on March 20-21 in Moscow and will be timed to coincide with the World Water Day, the press service of the legislative body reports.

As noted by Alexander Pliev, the event will be attended by Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, as well as representatives of foreign countries.

Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov noted the great potential of South Ossetia in the field of tourism. He stated this at the meeting with President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev.

“The Republic is of independent interest to tourists, and with the development of Mamison, it will be even easier to come here to relax and see the sights. This is already Transcaucasia; the climate here is a little different. Nature changes a lot along the way, and there is something to see here.
