The statement of a head of the South Ossetian delegation in the format of MPRI Khokh Gagloyty with regard to the border incident occurred May 27, 2013

May 27, 2013 in the area of the river Ditsura to the south-eastern outskirts of Tskhinval, the engineering units of the border services of the Republic of South Ossetia were carrying out the planned work on the equipment of the border area of South Ossetia by constructing the barrier.

Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria is the first signatory to the 2003 full-scale cooperation agreement with the unrecognized at that time Republic of South Ossetia, said today the South Ossetian Parliament Speaker Stanisłav Kochiev at a briefing in Tskhinval.

The signing of the historically significant document - Memorandum on cooperation between the parliaments of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria - has confirmed the readiness of the two republics to mutually beneficial cooperation in all fields, was said by the Speaker of Kabardino-Balkaria Anuar Chechenov at the briefing in Tskhinval. He has expressed the hope that in the near future a similar agreement will be signed between the heads of Kabardino-Balkaria and South Ossetia Arsen Kanokov and Leonid Tibilov.

A memorandum of cooperation between the parliaments of the Republic of South Ossetia and Kabardino-Balkaria has been signed in the capital of South Ossetia.
For the South Ossetian part the document was signed by Speaker Stanislav Kochiev, for the part of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria - by Speaker Anuar Chechenov.

South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov has received the parliamentary delegation of the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, led by Speaker Anuar Chechenov. The meeting was attended by Speaker of the Parliament of South Ossetia Stanislav Kochiev, the first Vice-Speaker of the RSO Parliament Jury Dzitstsoity, members of the legislative body of Kabardino-Balkaria.

On May 28, South Ossetia will be marking the Day of the South Ossetian diplomacy - 21 years ago it was established the Foreign Ministry of the Republic. May 28-29, 1992 at the session of the Supreme Council was formed the first Council of Ministers of the Republic of South Ossetia. It was also established the Ministry of External Relations of the RSO (now the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

A solemn meeting dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Russian border troops - the Day of a Border Guard – was held in the capital of South Ossetia. The event was attended by representatives of the South Ossetian leadership, headed by President Leonid Tibilov, members of the government of the Republic, Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Elbrus Kargiev, representatives of the FSS Border Control Agency in South Ossetia, the Russian 4th military base.

On May 29 South Ossetia will be marking the 21th anniversary of the adoption of the Act of Independence. As noted by President Leonid Tibilov at the meeting with the heads of law enforcement agencies of the Republic, since 2010, this date is a public holiday in South Ossetia.

The next meeting of the Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents is scheduled for May 31, said IA "Res" the RSO Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev.
