According to the press service of the RSO Defense Ministry the high award was presented to Gasseev during a solemn meeting in honor of the 28th anniversary of the Victory in the Patriotic War of the people of Abkhazia, held at the Defense Ministry of Abkhazia.

Ibrahim Gasseev expressed gratitude to President Aslan Bzhania, congratulating fraternal Abkhazia on the holiday.
