Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma for ratification a protocol on amending the agreement between the Russian Federation and South Ossetia on cooperation and integration, providing for the lifting of mutual restrictions on the length of stay of citizens in both countries. The delegation of South Ossetia headed by Deputy Chairman of the Government - Minister of Economic Development Gennady Bekoev returned from St. Petersburg, after participating in a seminar on the development of entrepreneurship and investment policy in South Ossetia, the government’s press service reports.

St. Petersburg Vice-Governor Nikolai Bondarenko and Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Economic Development of the Republic of South Ossetia Gennady Bekoev, within the framework of a joint business forum at the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that St. Petersburg and South Ossetia would sign a Cooperation Agreement in autumn.
The next meeting of the Commission for Cooperation of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Parliament of South Ossetia is scheduled for October-November 2019.

Crimea and South Ossetia in the framework of the V Yalta International Economic Forum, which will be held April 17-21, will conclude a cooperation agreement, said the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Russian region - the permanent representative of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation Georgy Muradov.
"An agreement is being planned between the Republic of Crimea of the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia on trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation," Muradov said.
