The composition of the working Friendship Group on cooperation between the Parliament of South Ossetia and the People’s Council of the Syrian Arab Republic was approved at the session of the South Ossetian Parliament.

The question for discussion of parliamentarians was submitted by the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Relations, Igor Kochiev, who noted that the group had included representatives of all political parties.

Deputies of the Parliament of South Ossetia considered the cooperation agreements between the Parliament of the Republic and the People’s Councils of the DPR and the LPR.

The question at the meeting was raised by the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Igor Kochiev.

As noted by Kochiev, based on the mutual desire of both parties to expand and strengthen inter-parliamentary ties and exchange experience in the field of lawmaking, the legislative bodies agreed on mutual cooperation.
