April 30, 2009 in accordance with the interstate agreements, Russian border guards started supervising the state border of South Ossetia. The guards started to protect our border virtually from scratch, stationed in tents or outdoor. Today, after more than three years, instead of tents there are the multifunctional complex sub-units of the Border Guard Service along the border of the Republic.
A Centre of public access to Legal Information of the Russian Federation has opened at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in the capital of South Ossetia.
South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov has received today the regional public youth representatives of the Orthodox movement "Spiritual Heritage". South Ossetian delegation was headed by Deputy Prime Minister of South Ossetia Alla Dzhioeva. The delegation also included the Presidential Advisor of South Ossetia on social issues Rodion Siukaev, a head of Znaur district Vitaly Pliev and others.
Russian interagency group consisting of the experts of different ministries and departments, headed by a representative of the Border Service of the Russian Federation Federal Security Service Grigory Ganovichev has visited the border villages in Tskhinval district of South Ossetia. A book "The Code of Tragedy: 08/08/08" (White Paper on the crimes committed by Georgia against Russian peacekeepers and civilians in South Ossetia and Abkhazia in August 2008) has been issued based on the materials of the criminal case being investigated by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
Deputy Prime Minister of South Ossetia Alla Dzhioeva has received today representatives of the Russian interagency delegation arrived in the country to provide socio-economic assistance to the population. The meeting was attended by heads of the South Ossetian ministries and agencies.
