Last night nearby 00:50 the southern outskirts of Tskhinval were shelled from the direction of the Georgian village Nikozi. The correspondent of «Res» was informed about it at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RSO.
The Georgian side has continued construction works of the roundabout road Avnevi - Nikozi that has caused the next splash of intensity in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict. The correspondent of «Res» was informed about it by the assistant of the Minister of Internal Affairs of RSO Radion Gabaraev. To his words, the representative of JPKF from the Russian party, the colonel Ivan Kuznetsov has informed, that he has received instructions from the command not to interfere the Georgian side with the road laying. At the same time the Russian peacemakers do not allow the ossetian side the construction of the roundabout road Mugut - Khetagurovo.
The Georgian side continues its provocative actions in relation to the peace citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia. As we have been informed at the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RSO, today, nearby 13:00pm, the bus Grom (the Tskhinvalskij area of RSO) - Tskhinval with the peace citizens has been stopped by the Georgian armed formations in the settlement Ditsy. The bus is held by the Georgian side till present time.
On July, 1st, 2007, a monitoring was held by the military observers from the three parties and the officers of the mission of OSCE with the purpose of checking of the received by the Joint Staff of JPKF information on holding a meeting in the settlement Ergneti.
Today in the area of the Georgian village Ergneti the Georgian side has detained the passengers of the bus Artsev- Tskhinval. The majority of the arrested are women and children, including the patient with a hand fracture, going to Tskhinval for medical aid. According to the available information, the passengers of the bus have been kept in Ergneti for several hours and then have been sent back to Artsev.
As the correspondent of the agency «Res " have been informed at the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RSO, in the course of two hours the Georgian side subjects to sniper shelling the multi-storied apartment house, located in the northern part of the town. The kinsfolk of Radik Tuaev, also killed yesterday from a sniper bullet, are deprived of an opportunity to bid farewell to the perished.
As a result of shelling of Tskhinval and the ossetian villages Kvernet and Кusret the inhabitants of the capital of RSO Juriy Majsuradze and Аsiat Byazrova are wounded. At present the wounded are in the Republican somatic hospital. Their condition is estimated by doctors as grave. Also as a result of direct hit from a mortar the apartment house in Kutuzov Street is destroyed.
The Georgian side fires the residential areas of the capital of RSO Tskhinval in the northern part of the town. The bombardment is conducted from mortars, grenade cup discharges and the small arms from the direction of the Georgian village Kheiti.
The co-chairman of the north-ossetian part of JCC Murat Тkhostov has sent a letter to the co-chairmen of JCC from the georgian, the south-ossetian and the Russian parties Merab Antadze, Boris Chochiev and Juriy Popov. Copies of the letter are sent to the Head of the Mission of OSCE in Georgia Roy Riv and the Chief negotiator of the European Commission in Georgia and Armenia Payer Eklund.
On June, 27th, 2007 a monitoring with the aim of checking of the information on conducting engineering works in the area of the settlement Prisi had been held by the group of military observers from the three parties and the representatives of the Mission of OSCE.
